I am a critical researcher and editor who seeks out unfiltered stories and shapes them to share with the world. My focus lies in how everyday interests can bring joy to people, and I research the impact of media on mental health based on this interest. I find joy in the process, communicating through writings and videos. I am also interested in how these stories can be re-edited efficiently and effectively, both visually and computationally, through various languages like video grammar or Python.
I graduated from Ewha Womans University with a double major in Communication & Media and Design in 2022, and I completed a master’s program at the same university in 2023 while also studying data science. Skilled in using tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects, I integrate various analog techniques into my work. Since 2016, I've collaborated with various organizations and companies in video, marketing, and research fields, bringing my unique interests and style.
During my time at Ewha Womans University, I produced stories through articles, images, and videos at Ewha Weekly. As the first journalist in the new media division there, I introduced video and card news reporting. Additionally, I served as the co-president of the Communication and Media Studies Department's student council.
When I am not researching media, I run, or indulge in media that may become a subject of my research, or spend time discussing favorite topics with long-time friends.
